Hello to all,

This week let's focus on the benefits of exercise. It's common knowledge that exercise is good for your health.

Study after study shows that regular exercise has cardiovascular benefits, like lowering your blood pressure and decreasing your risk of early mortality. Exercise improves your strength, mobility, endurance and balance. But what about the other benefits of exercise? Depression, anxiety, ADHD and schizophrenia are positively impacted by regular exercise. Studies have shown that it increases executive functioning skills, like organization and focus. Exercise can also increase your self-esteem. Regular exercise will also boost your resilience and decrease stress levels. No matter what you do, be it yoga or a marathon, it will enhance your overall well-being. Later this week our Employee Wellness Center is opening! Please make sure to complete your i-learn class to learn the "how-tos" of the wellness center.
