Welcome to Bay Shore TY

The Transitional Year Residency at South Shore University Hospital - Northwell Health is a dynamic residency program sponsored by the Emergency Medicine residency. While most TY programs throughout the country are sponsored by Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs, our residency features the unique perspective, diverse pathology, procedural competency, and social awareness that defines Emergency Medicine. With experienced faculty dedicated to developing individualized curricula and one-on-one mentorship, our Transitional Year residency program is the perfect place to prepare you for the next stop on your medical education journey. Check out more about out program under the "TY PROGRAM" link in the website header.
