Hello to all,

I hope you are all enjoying the holiday season. Whether you are hosting a large family gathering (hopefully everyone swabs before attending), or working in the ER, keep in mind the power of working together as a team. It may be getting a meal prepared, or getting through a seemingly endless number of nasal swabs. No matter what the situation, it is always easier to get things done when you work with others. Being part of a team improves your wellbeing, and great solutions often come from casual conversations with those around you. Teamwork allows us to learn from each other's successes, and mistakes. Most important, sharing the workload decreases burnout, as well as stress. We would never get through our shifts without the amazing teamwork we have. Knowing that we are going through it together makes all the difference.

Thanks to all of the terrific people I work with every shift!

Stay safe. Have a great week, and I wish you a Happy and Healthy New Year!

Best,

Dr. Heidi Levine

Check out my favorite eggnog recipe, also attached. Think chocolate!
