Dr.Yan is an assistant professor and the Director of Digital Education. Dr.Yan went to medical school at TouroCOM in NYC. She completed her residency at Rutgers RWJ in New Jersey. She joined the South Shore family in 2018. Her focus is on resident education and digital media.

Dr.Yan is an avid painter. She often merges visual art with medicine.

D.Yan now lives on LI with her husband and her pet hamster.
