Dr. Daniel Frank is an attending physician at Southside Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He completed both medical school and residency training in Emergency Medicine at Stony Brook University's Health Science Center. While there, he served as chief resident and conducted research on post-intubation care in the emergency department. After finishing residency training, Dr. Frank went on to complete a two-year fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine at North Shore University Hospital of Northwell Health. He then joined the Core Faculty of the Emergency Medicine Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center, where he spent 3 years working closely with residents and developing his interest in graduate medical education. Dr. Frank has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences.
Dr. Frank joined the faculty at Southside Hospital in 2017, intending to help establish a residency program at our rapidly growing institution. Dr. Frank lives on Long Island with his wife and dog.
